I'm sorry to tell you all, but I think I will have to close down this club. It's not worth it, updating every weekend, checking and running things and adding new members when no one is even submitting entries. There have been about... 4 people total. Come on! How are we supossed to have contests if 4 different people enter 4 different contests?

ANYWAY. I sure can't do this much longer, I have lots of other things that need doing and this club isn't going anywhere. If someone with some time and dedication would like to take over, note me asap. You have to be experienced with club-dom, because even if I go, I really would like to see this club flourish. (I will be deleting the website, as well, since it was pretty much as pointless as this club.)

To those of you who have recently sent me very kind notes asking to join and for affiliations, I apologize for this situation. Please check back later to see if this is all under new management? ?

The Ryoukan Setsugai Snow Nin Contest

The three deviants holding the contest are looking for a fourth ninja for their team, and they're looking for some good design ideas. Design a male snow ninja with purple hair and black eyes between the ages of 13-17 that would be ranked Genin (those are the only requirements).
The prizes offered are fairly generous, the grand prize winner getting to choose from a year subscription to DA, paid commission, paid DA print, paid DA Print account, or even a year-paid-member at LiveJournal.
The deadline is June 19th by midnight CST.

This is the Naruto Contest Club! I created this club because I was sick of joining and joining other Naruto clubs with the hopes that there would be a contest more than once a year. But, of course, I was terribly let down. And so the NCC was born!

The purpose of the NCC is to provide it's members with contests all the time! Different contests will be judged on different criteria, so sometimes it won't matter how well-drawn the image is or if you don't have access to super-cool computer programs. This is a club for everyone who loves art, contests, and of course, Naruto!

When you sign up, you will be asked to specify a village you want to be a member of. This is because, not only will we have normal contests, we will have battles between villages. The winning village will get will get a point, and the village with the most amount of points at the end of a certain time period will be deemed the strongest and most powerful of them all. You will get recognition on the front page for all visitors (and the loosers) to see.

Submitting entries: You will need to send a note to NarutoContestClub with a link to your uploaded submission. That means you have to put it on your own devpage before you send it to us.

Voting will go as follows: A pallate will be made of all the entrant's works which will be numbered. It's up to the members to leave comments with the number of the drawing they want to vote for. If there are a ton of entries, the admins will decide on about 5 (could be more, could be less) of the ones that best follow the criteria and and have the most potential to win, and then make a pallate. Some contests will be judged by our admins specifically, but it will say so in the contest's information. ALL VOTING IS OPEN TO NONMEMBERS, AS WELL AS MEMBERS.

Prizes will be specified in the contest's information under 'Current Contests'.

1) You must like/love/enjoy the Anime and/or manga, Naruto!
2) You AGREE TO KEEP YOUR PICTURES PG13 OR BELOW. Shoujo-ai and Shouri-ai are accepted, but NO yaoi or yuri.
3) You agree never to spam, be it in comments or on the tagboard, and you agree to be curteous at all times to other members of the NCC, here or on their own dev pages. There is a definite line between constructive criticism and meaness.
